Workshop Technician at Borås Truckservice

Borås Truckservice, a subsidiary of Toyota Material Handling, is growing and is now looking for a workshop technician who wants to be part of a small and family-oriented company with short decision-making paths, strong team spirit, and a good reputation for quickly being on-site and solving problems. We are looking for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, likes variety, and is passionate about quality.

Your Responsibilities

In our workshop at Borås Truckservice, we are responsible for the service and maintenance of our rental and demo trucks, renovation of used trucks, and customization of trucks for customers. In your role as a workshop technician, you will work on everything from simple cleaning and service to in-depth renovation of trucks. You will work independently and be responsible for all steps in the process, from washing/cleaning, repair to assembly and final painting. The work is performed according to given delivery times - always with quality and the customer in focus. Reporting will be to the workshop manager.

• You work methodically and can also perform under pressure during peak times.
• You have a vehicle technical or other comparable education/experience.
• You should be able to handle English as many of the manuals are written in English.
• Computer proficiency.

Meritorious

• It is desirable that you have good knowledge of electrical/electronics, hydraulics, mechanics, and combustion engines.
• Experience from similar work is meritorious.
